Edina Grill

The Edina Grill was a great place to go for breakfast the day after Christmas.  The french toast was very well done.  Six out of six people at the table agreed that they’d order their meal again.  Additionally, the light fixtures are really interesting.

Victor’s 1959 Cafe is a tiny neighborhood joint specializing in greatest breakfasts.  This restaurant may lack in size and table space, but the quality of the food makes up for most waits.

Citizen Cafe

Citizen Cafe is the new restaurant in the south Minneapolis building that used to be Sweet Lorraine’s.  Their breakfast menu is simple, tasty, and worth repeat business.

Visiting St. Paul’s small, neighborhood restaurants and cafes for breakfast is a joy, especially during a soggy, spring morning.  Bonnie’s Cafe is a classic.

Birchwood Cafe

The breakfast tradition with Paul and Mike continued last weekend at the Birchwood Cafe in South Minneapolis. It was a first for us and well worth a return visit, as The Deets would attest.
