After a 5 day backpacking trip through the back country in Glacier National Park it dawned on me that I had never before said WOW so frequently in such a short period of time. Entering the park through Canada’s Waterton Park and then backpacking from Goat Haunt over the Stoney Indian Pass and through the Ptarmigan tunnel to Many Glacier was a spectacular way to see a precious gem in the Rocky Mountains. If you can prepare yourself to possibly confront a grizzly bear, then this trip is worth doing.
